Initially starting with 5 of the major Welsh operators as part of a pilot, TfW has expanded the number of operators on the CitySwift platform to 40 enabling them to prepare for franchising through making data-informed decisions in the best interests of passengers.
Since September 2023 NXWM’s use of CitySwift’s has resulted in a reduction in late running and customer wait times, while passengers per journey have increased. This follows strong results from previous years and consequently NXWM is now rolling out CitySwift across its entire fleet of over 1,400 buses.
